What we're building

Everything you need to sleep well at night.

Content-defined chunking

Dedup saves 60–80% storage. Only unique data blocks are stored.

Client-side encryption

AES-256-GCM encryption on your machine before upload. We never see your files.

Incremental backups

Only changed blocks are uploaded. Subsequent backups take seconds.

Instant restore

Browse backups in the web UI. Restore any file or full snapshot.

Bare-metal recovery

Build a bootable USB. Recover a dead machine from scratch — BIOS, EFI, LUKS, LVM.

Zero config

One install command. No YAML. Restore to any machine or spin up a new exe.dev VM.

How it works

1

Install the agent

$ curl -sSL https://chronicled.sh/install.sh | sh
